THE 15th day of the first moon in the lunar calendar is the birthday of Twa Peh Kong, the God of Prosperity. Twa Peh Kong is a popular deity worship espcially among rural village Chinese folks. In George Town, a grand celebration will be commemorated in style with a Chingay procession with decorated floats and giant triangular silk flags to honour of its patron deity Twa Peh Kong.
